Michael Douglas has enjoyed a long and celebrated career, earning numerous accolades for his performances — but the role he values most is being a father. The Ant-Man star first became a dad in 1978 with the birth of his son Cameron, now 46, whom he shares with ex-wife Diandra Luker. The two were married for 18 years before separating in 1995 and finalizing their divorce in 2000.
Douglas later married actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, and together they’ve raised two children: son Dylan, 25, and daughter Carys, 22. “My career was the most important thing in my life, followed by marriage and children,” Douglas told AARP The Magazine in 2010. “And it’s completely reversed now. I never anticipated starting a family and the joy of raising kids at my age.”
Over the years, Douglas’ children have often joined him on the red carpet. In July 2024, Dylan and Carys attended a New York City screening of his documentary America’s Burning. Carys has frequently joined her mother at major fashion events for brands like Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, and Fendi.
