Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are proud parents of two daughters, Vivian, 18, and Georgette, 15. Reflecting on parenting during a 2013 interview with Michigan Avenue Magazine, McCarthy described it as “extreme everything.” She explained, “It’s extremely tiring. It’s extremely overwhelming in a good way… You just don’t sleep when you have two kids. But they’re so funny. The bigger they get, the weirder and the funnier they become, and their true personalities emerge. They surprise me every day.”
Recently, the couple’s daughters made a rare public appearance with their parents at the premiere of The Little Mermaid. Now that Vivian and Georgette are teenagers, McCarthy couldn’t be prouder of the strong young women they’ve become. In her April 2023 cover story for, she shared, “Watching them navigate a world that’s so much more complicated… and doing it with such grace, love, and empathy for others… I learn from them every single day.” She also mentioned the thought of her daughters eventually leaving home, admitting she avoids thinking about it.
Vivian Falcone, 18
Born on May 5, 2007, Vivian was McCarthy and Falcone’s first child. Despite her mom’s Hollywood success, young Vivian wasn’t overly impressed. After McCarthy won an Emmy in 2011, Vivian was more interested in the tiara McCarthy wore than the award itself. As she grew, Vivian showed an interest in acting, making her film debut at just seven in The Boss, where she portrayed a younger version of her mom’s character. Despite initial hesitation, McCarthy eventually supported her daughter’s desire to act.
Georgette Falcone, 15
The couple’s younger daughter, Georgette “Georgie” Falcone, was born on February 22, 2010. McCarthy has affectionately called her “a force of nature.” Georgette’s bold personality was evident even as a child—she once told her dad, “Someday God is going to kill me, but guess what? I’m coming back.” At six, she made her film debut in The Boss, following her sister’s footsteps. McCarthy has joked that Georgette might have been “a vigilante in her first life,” recalling the time her daughter insisted on having a sparring dummy instead of karate lessons.
