Larsa Pippen may be parenting solo these days, but she and ex-husband Scottie Pippen remain on the same page when it comes to raising their four kids: Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin, and Sophia.
“I feel like we’re both the same when it comes down to parenting our kids,” Larsa told Bravo’s The Daily Dish in 2023. “We’re both pretty understanding and we have the same parenting goals. So I think it works for our family.”
The Real Housewives of Miami star married NBA legend Scottie Pippen in 1997, when he was already a father to four children from previous relationships. Together, Larsa and Scottie welcomed their first child, Scotty Jr., in 2000. Preston followed in 2002, Justin in 2005, and their youngest, Sophia, arrived in 2008. The couple split in 2018 and finalized their divorce in 2021 after 21 years together. Despite the end of their marriage, they’ve stayed close for the sake of their kids — who are now finding their own paths in life.
Scotty Pippen Jr., 24
Larsa became a mom on November 10, 2000, when she gave birth to Scotty Jr. in Portland, Oregon. He grew up between Florida and California and showed athletic talent from a young age. “He had a ball like that probably since he was born,” Scottie told in 2022.
On RHOM’s original run in 2011, Larsa described her oldest son as “just like his dad — super, super competitive.” That competitive edge led Scotty to play basketball at Sierra Canyon and then Vanderbilt University. In 2022, he went pro, signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.
“Having a father in the NBA definitely puts a target on your back,” he said at the time. “But being able to endure that and finally say ‘I made it’ — it’s a great feeling.
Preston Pippen, 22
Born August 26, 2002, Preston was named after his grandfather, Scottie’s late father. Like his siblings, he played basketball during high school but ultimately chose a different path.
“[He] is a little more laid back,” Larsa shared on RHOM, contrasting Preston’s personality with his older brother’s.
After graduating high school, Preston attended Loyola Marymount University to study business and entrepreneurship. In May 2025, he graduated — and both his parents showed up to support him. “You’ve earned every bit of this… today’s just the beginning,” Scottie wrote on Instagram. Larsa also shared her pride online, writing, “Congrats my love, I’m so proud of you.
Justin Pippen, 19
Justin was born July 11, 2005, in California, and like his brothers, he gravitated toward basketball early on. “He’s actually another athlete,” Larsa told The Daily Dish in 2023. “He loves basketball. So he’s kind of following in little Scotty’s footsteps and his dad’s.”
In 2024, Justin graduated from Sierra Canyon School and committed to the University of Michigan, where he joined their basketball team. On Michigan’s Defend the Block podcast, he opened up about growing up in a basketball-centric family.
“My dad still wants me to work as hard as I can,” he shared, adding that while Scotty Jr. might be stronger, he claims to be the better shooter.
Sophia Pippen, 16
Larsa and Scottie’s youngest child and only daughter, Sophia, was born on December 26, 2008, in California — and her godmother is none other than Kim Kardashian.
“My daughter, Sophia, is a model,” Larsa said in 2023. “She acts, she dances. She’s my mini Larsa.”
Although she grew up in the spotlight, Sophia has been candid about the challenges of fame. “It was difficult when I was younger,” she told 360 Magazine, “but surrounding myself with friends in the same situation has helped me change my perspective.”
Close with her brothers and protective of her space, Sophia hopes to turn her passions into a fashion line one day. “My dad pushes us to be the best,” she told Poster Child in 2015. “But my mom just wants us to be happy.
Larsa Pippen’s Dating Life After Divorce
Since finalizing her divorce, Larsa has been navigating the dating world — sometimes in the public eye. In 2025, confirmed that she’s dating former pro basketball player Jeff Coby, not long after her high-profile breakup with Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan.
Reflecting on her romantic journey, Larsa said during a 2022 episode of On Display with Melissa Gorga,
“I was married to a really famous guy — cute, successful, great body, gave me four beautiful kids. Where do you even find someone who checks a few of those boxes?
