Chris Brown cherishes every moment he gets with his three children — Royalty, Aeko, and Lovely. He stepped into fatherhood in 2015 when he discovered he had an 8-month-old daughter, Royalty, with model Nia Guzman. Born in 2014, Royalty’s paternity was confirmed through a test the following year, marking a major turning point in Brown’s life. Embracing his role as a dad, the singer even named his seventh studio album Royalty in her honor.
Brown later welcomed son Aeko in 2019 with ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris, followed by daughter Lovely in 2022 with Diamond Brown. Speaking about fatherhood during a 2015 interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Brown admitted the transition came with challenges. “I have a co-parenting job that’s pretty amazing, but learning how to be a dad, especially learning how to take care of somebody else… I barely know how to brush my teeth in the morning!” he joked. Still, he found the experience grounding. “It’s very humbling. It’s very calming. I think I was a lot—rambunctious, very hyper as a kid—but now seeing that 10 times over, my daughter’s kind of mellowing me out.”
Royalty Brown, 11
Born on May 27, 2014, Royalty is Brown’s first child, shared with Nia Guzman. He didn’t learn about her until she was around 8 months old in March 2015, according to TMZ. Since then, he and Guzman have shared custody, and Royalty has become a central part of his life. She has one maternal half-sister, Sinatra, and two paternal siblings, Aeko and Lovely.
Shortly after meeting Royalty, Brown announced he was naming his next album after her. “MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE NAMED ‘ROYALTY’,” he tweeted in August 2015. The album cover, released in December, featured a black-and-white photo of Brown holding his daughter.
Today, the father-daughter bond remains strong. In 2022, Royalty called him the “best daddy ever” in a sweet Father’s Day Instagram tribute. The duo often share moments together — from dancing and attending the Grammys to braving Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.
Aeko Catori Brown, 5
Brown’s second child, Aeko Catori Brown, was born on November 20, 2019, to him and his ex-girlfriend, Ammika Harris. The singer subtly revealed the birth by posting a black-and-white photo of himself looking down with the caption, “11-20-2019.”
In December, Brown officially introduced Aeko to the world, first sharing his name, then posting side-by-side baby pictures of himself and his son, writing, “He just stole my whole face.” He also gave fans a glimpse into the delivery room with tender photos from the day Aeko was born.
Aeko celebrated his 4th birthday in 2023 with a Bluey-themed party attended by both parents. Harris shared joyful photos from the celebration, showing the little one having a blast.
Lovely Symphani Brown, 3
Lovely Symphani Brown, Brown’s youngest child, was born on January 7, 2022, to Instagram model Diamond Brown. Diamond introduced her daughter to the world on Instagram, writing: “The princess is here! Lovely Symphani Brown🤎… it’s been a whole day you’ve been in the world and have already shown me the true meaning of life. I promise to love and protect you always. Forever yours, mommy.”
In April 2022, Diamond celebrated Lovely turning 3 months old with a sweet post of her in a red Gucci onesie, writing, “I gave you life, but really, you gave me mine. HAPPY 3 months my little firecracker!” Chris Brown shared the tribute on his Instagram Story, adding heart emojis — a quiet but clear confirmation of his paternity.
