Bret Michaels’ 2 Daughters: Everything to Know About Raine and Jorja

Bret Michaels has faced numerous challenges in recent years, but one unwavering source of strength has been his two daughters, Raine Elizabeth Michaels and Jorja Bleu Michaels. In 2010, the Poison frontman suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage. His doctors warned that only “10 to 20 percent” of who experience such hemorrhages are expected to make a full recovery. Despite the odds, Bret pulled through. Just a year later, he faced another serious health scare, undergoing surgery to repair a hole in his heart.

Throughout these battles, Bret credits his daughters for giving him the will to fight. In a 2011 Redbook interview, Raine and Jorja, then just 11 and 6 years old, asked their dad how his health scare changed him. Bret’s heartfelt response highlighted his deep love for his family: “When the doctors said chances were slim, all I could think about was you and Jorja and your mom… You two saved my life spiritually.

Raine Elizabeth Michaels, 24

Raine was born on May 20, 2000, in Los Angeles. Her arrival was a life-changing moment for Bret, who described it as “as close as I’ll get to heaven without dying.” Although she grew up surrounded by music, Raine didn’t follow in her father’s rockstar footsteps. Instead, she pursued a successful modeling career. Signed with Ford Models, Raine made her mark by walking in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit runway show in 2018 and appearing in the magazine’s 2019 swimsuit issue as a finalist in the Swim Search competition.

Jorja Bleu Michaels, 20

Jorja was born on May 5, 2005. Her name was chosen by her mom, Kristi Gibson, with “Bleu” adding a touch of French flair. As a child, Jorja was already a huge fan of her dad, calling him her hero at just four years old. Jorja’s love for music eventually led her to collaborate with Bret. In 2019, the two co-wrote the single “Unbroken,” an experience Bret described as an incredible bonding moment.

Bret Michaels and Kristi Gibson: A Lasting Bond

Bret Michaels’ partner, Kristi Gibson, has been a significant part of his life for decades. The two met in the early ‘90s and, despite an on-and-off relationship, they have remained close. They got engaged in 2010 during the finale of Bret’s VH1 reality show, Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It. Though they called off their engagement in 2012, their bond endures. Gibson continues to be a constant presence at Poison concerts and is a devoted mom to Raine and Jorja. Over the years, Bret has openly praised Kristi for her unwavering support and her role in raising their daughters.
