All About Steph and Ayesha Curry’s 4 Kids

by Kristine Bowman

Between NBA games, cookbooks, and family life, Stephen and Ayesha Curry definitely have their hands full — and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

The couple met as teenagers at church in North Carolina and tied the knot in June 2011. A year later, they became first-time parents to daughter Riley. Their family grew again with the arrival of daughter Ryan in 2015, followed by sons Canon in 2018 and Caius in 2024 — making them a family of six.

In May 2021, Ayesha opened up about becoming a young mom and the challenge of balancing motherhood while figuring out her own path. It wasn’t until she launched a food blog that she discovered her passion — a journey that’s now grown into a full-blown culinary empire, including restaurants, cookbooks, and a TV show.

Meanwhile, Steph has found his own rhythm between being an NBA superstar and a hands-on dad. Despite his accolades on the court, he admits his kids aren’t all that fazed by his basketball fame.

“I don’t think they care too much about how many times the ball goes in the basket,” he once joked. “At home, you’re just dad — and that’s the best part about it.”

Here’s everything to know about the Curry kids: Riley, Ryan, Canon, and Caius.

Riley Elizabeth Curry, 13

Born on July 19, 2012, Riley made headlines at just two years old when she hilariously stole the show during one of Steph’s post-game press conferences — yawning, giggling, and telling reporters they were “too loud.” Instantly, she became a fan favorite and a viral sensation during the 2015 NBA Finals.

As she’s grown, Riley has continued to make sweet appearances alongside her family, including a red carpet moment at the 2022 ESPY Awards with her parents and sister Ryan.

These days, she’s exploring her own interests — including volleyball and cooking. Though Steph says there’s “no pressure” for any of the kids to pursue sports, Riley seems to have inherited her mom’s love for the kitchen.

“She made us chicken piccata from scratch the other night,” Ayesha told in 2022. “I didn’t lift a finger. She did the whole thing herself, and it was delicious. I was so proud I could cry.”

Ryan Carson Curry, 10

Ryan was born on July 10, 2015, and from the start, she’s been surrounded by family and basketball. Steph announced her arrival with a joyful post: “I’m wayyyyy up I feel Blessed! God is Great,” along with a photo of Riley holding her new sister.

While Ryan is still figuring out whether sports are her thing, she’s spent plenty of time courtside supporting her dad. She’s been present at NBA playoffs, championship parades, and countless games — and even shared a sweet high-five moment with Steph during the 2022 postseason.

Canon W. Jack Curry, 7

Canon made his debut on July 2, 2018, as the Curry family’s first son. Later that year, Ayesha shared the story behind his name, revealing that she and Steph had picked it during their honeymoon.

“We had Canon picked out for years,” she said. “It’s actually French and means ‘young wolf,’ which Stephen loved. We’ve always seen ourselves as a little wolf pack.”

Since then, Canon’s grown into a lively presence at family outings and Warriors games — often spotted in adorable courtside moments with his dad.

Caius Chai Curry

The youngest Curry, Caius Chai, arrived on May 11, 2024. Steph and Ayesha shared the news two weeks later on Instagram, writing, “He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!”

Caius’ arrival came just ahead of Steph’s big moment at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Steph later told the Associated Press that they had timed the pregnancy with the Olympic schedule — and it worked out perfectly. Ayesha and Canon were in the stands with baby Caius as Team USA took home the gold.

From viral press conference moments to family recipes and Olympic milestones, the Curry kids are growing up in a home full of love, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable memories — with two proud parents cheering them on every step of the way.
