Tommy Lee Jones’ Two Kids: Victoria and Austin

Tommy Lee Jones is the father of two children, son Austin and daughter Victoria.

The Fugitive actor welcomed Austin in 1982 and Victoria in 1991 with his former wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, to whom he was married from 1981 to 1996.

Victoria was found dead on Jan. 1 in San Francisco, according to multiple reports. She was 34 years old.

Throughout her life, Victoria largely stayed out of the public eye, making only occasional red carpet appearances alongside her father. In 2017, she joined Jones and his current wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones, at the Los Angeles premiere of Just Getting Started.

Austin Leonard Jones

Tommy Lee Jones welcomed his son Austin Leonard Jones on Nov. 9, 1982, and raised him in his home state of Texas. Like his father, Austin pursued a career in entertainment, establishing himself as both an actor and a composer.

His acting credits include The Homesman, in which he also played banjo, while his composing work includes Metamorphosis: Junior Year and Frontera. During an interview with Movies.ie, Jones spoke about collaborating with his son on The Homesman, where he served as director and actor while Austin worked as the film’s musical supervisor.

Set in 1855, the Western follows a journey from Nebraska to Iowa. Jones noted that Austin researched period-appropriate music, saying his son “went through the archives of 19th-century music that would have been expected in that part of the world.”

“He found some important and rare songs for us,” Jones added.

In addition to film work, Austin has released his own music, including albums Dead Calm (2022) and At the Polo Club (2023). He also toured across the U.S. in 2024.

Victoria Kafka Jones

Jones and Cloughley welcomed their daughter Victoria Kafka Jones on Sept. 3, 1991, nearly a decade after her brother. She followed in her father’s footsteps early on, making her film debut in Men in Black II in 2002.

She later appeared in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), a film directed by her father and featuring her stepmother, Dawn Laurel-Jones, as stills photographer. Speaking to The New Yorker in 2006, Jones praised his daughter’s talent, noting that she was bilingual and had earned her SAG card at a young age.

He also recalled firing Victoria from the set of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada after she refused to get out of bed for an early call time, though the production team later brought her to set without his knowledge.

Beyond film, Victoria appeared in a 2003 episode of One Tree Hill. After 2005, she largely stepped away from acting but continued to make occasional public appearances with her father.

On Jan. 1, Victoria was found dead at a hotel in San Francisco. The San Francisco Fire Department responded to a medical emergency at the Fairmont Hotel shortly before 3 a.m. local time and pronounced an individual dead at the scene. Her official cause of death has not been released, and authorities have reported that foul play is not suspected.
