Steven Tyler, one of the most legendary rockstars in history, shot to fame in the 1970s as the lead singer of Aerosmith. Off the stage, the “Sweet Emotion” singer is a proud father of four: daughters Liv, 47, Mia, 46, and Chelsea, 35, and son Taj, 34. Tyler also enjoys the company of his four grandchildren, who call him “Papa Stevie.” Though his kids are all grown up, with their own careers and families, Tyler makes an effort to gather everyone together for the holidays. “I’m still pretty busy right now,” he says.

Liv Tyler, 47, born Liv Rundgren,

The oldest of Steven Tyler’s children, Liv Rundgren Tyler, was born on July 1, 1977, to Bebe Buell. Growing up, Liv believed that her mother’s partner at the time, Todd Rundgren, the frontman of Utopia, was her biological father. It wasn’t until she was 8 years old, attending one of her father’s concerts with her mom, that Liv discovered the truth. I kind of figured it out because he looked exactly like me,” she shared during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show. “I have a sister named Mia, who’s a year younger than me, and I saw her standing on the side of the stage at a concert, and it was like looking at my twin. She looked exactly like me. Then I looked at my mom, and she had tears in her eyes.”

Mia Abagale Tyler, 46,

Mia Abagale Tyler was born to Cyrinda Foxe, Steven Tyler’s ex-wife, on December 22, 1978. After her parents’ divorce in 1987, Mia moved to New York City with her mother, who sadly passed away from a brain tumor in 2002. Mia began her career as a model, gracing the pages of magazines like Vogue, Seventeen, and Teen People. In 2009, she launched a now-defunct plus-size clothing line called Revolution 1228. Alongside modeling, Mia took on a few small acting roles, appearing in films like Rush Hour 3 and A Little Bit of Lipstick. She also made appearances on Hell’s Kitchen alongside her dad and the VH1 reality series Celebrity Fight Club. In 2009, Mia published a memoir titled Creating Myself.

Chelsea Anna Tyler, 35,

Steven Tyler welcomed his daughter Chelsea Anna Tyler (born Chelsea Anna Tallarico—Tyler’s real last name) on March 6, 1989, with his then-wife Teresa Barrick, whom he married in 1988. The couple separated in 2005 and finalized their divorce the following year. Chelsea followed in her father’s musical footsteps, occasionally singing duets with him as a young adult. She is now one half of the electronic-soul duo KANEHOLLER. In 2011, Chelsea and her now-husband, Jon Foster, formed the band after meeting through mutual friend Zoë Kravitz. Speaking about making music with his then-fiancée, Foster told PEOPLE in March 2015, “It’s been a really, really incredible experience to be able to do that with somebody that you love so much.”

Taj Monroe Tallarico, 34,

Two years after Chelsea was born, Steven Tyler and Teresa Barrick welcomed son Taj Monroe Tallarico on January 31, 1991. Taj has largely stayed out of the spotlight, though he did make an appearance on an episode of Lizzie McGuire alongside his father and sister Chelsea, according to MTV. He’s also been spotted in family photos shared on Tyler’s Instagram. Taj married Brittany Reardon in 2018, as noted on Facebook.
