Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott may be known for his leadership on the field, but at home, family comes first — especially his two daughters, MJ and Aurora. After finishing as the 2023 MVP runner-up, Prescott credited his performance to “dad strength,” a nod to the life-changing role of fatherhood.

Prescott and his now-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, announced they were expecting their first child in November 2023. Just a few months later, their daughter Margaret Jane “MJ” Prescott arrived in February 2024. The couple, who got engaged in October of that same year, welcomed their second daughter, Aurora, in May 2025.

“I’m blessed to have the opportunity to raise two girls alongside my fiancée, to have a beautiful family, a healthy family,” Prescott said during a June 2025 press conference. “For me, it’s just about being grateful and not taking a moment for granted when I’m with them.”

Dak and Sarah welcomed their first daughter, Margaret Jane “MJ,” on Feb. 22, 2024. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram a month later with photos of their newborn, writing: “Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer and we are so fortunate that you are ours! … We are so IN LOVE with you.”

Prescott admitted he had secretly hoped for a girl. “It’s super exciting, it really is,” he told reporters when announcing the pregnancy. “I actually wanted a girl … I do want a girl.

Aurora Rayne Prescott

On May 22, 2025, the family grew again with the birth of Aurora Rayne Prescott, who weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. Like her sister, Aurora’s name carries special meaning: her middle name honors Dak himself, whose full name is Rayne Dakota Prescott.

Ramos shared the joyful news on Instagram just days later: “Our sweet Aurora Rayne Prescott arrived on her due date 5.22.25 ? … so beyond grateful and in love with our family of 4.” Prescott echoed the sentiment in his own post: “Thank You God! Welcome, Aurora Rayne! … I love you @sarahjane and the Family we’ve created.

Who Is Dak Prescott’s Fiancée?

Prescott’s partner, Sarah Jane Ramos, has been by his side through career highs and personal milestones. The couple were first linked in September 2023 after Ramos attended a Cowboys game. They announced their engagement in October 2024, just before revealing they were expecting their second child.
