Bob Saget’s Three Daughters: All About Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer

Actor and comedian Bob Saget was a devoted father to his three daughters — Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer — whom he shared with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer.

While he became one of television’s most beloved sitcom dads on Full House, Bob’s real-life role as a father was just as important to him.

“[My daughters] are the best I know,” he told in 2016. “They are the light of my life. I am a fortunate man in that all three of my daughters are exceptional. Very high beings, very smart, very wonderful and very brilliant, very beautiful. They’re all artists.”

Bob passed away on Jan. 9, 2022, at age 65. In one of his final interviews, he reflected on how his family shaped both his life and his comedy. “At 65, I’m different than I was. We’re all rethinking what we said 20 years ago, 10 years ago, four years ago. I’m not even rethinking it, I just don’t have the same way of doing humor or conversation,” he said on the Til This Day with Radio Rahim podcast.

“I guess therapy, having three kids, watching pass away in the past few years, mortality, all that stuff has fortunately changed me,” he added. “My kids tell me, ‘Dad, you’re different. It’s so nice to watch you grow.’ ”

In December 2022, nearly a year after Bob’s death, his widow Kelly Rizzo shared her bond with his daughters. “The three of them are just everything to me because they were everything to him,” she told Today. “Keeping them close, really, is everything.”

Aubrey Saget, 38

Born on Feb. 15, 1987, in New York, Aubrey is Bob and Sherri Kramer’s eldest child. Though she appeared with her father on red carpets, she largely had a private childhood.

Aubrey graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009 and later earned her Master of Fine Arts in 2016. Today, she lives in Brooklyn, New York, working as a visual artist specializing in oil painting. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions across the U.S.

After Bob’s passing, Aubrey shared the last text she received from him: “Thank u. Love u. Showtime!”

In November 2022, she married longtime partner Andy Kabel in Tulum, Mexico. Alongside her sisters, Bob’s widow Kelly Rizzo attended to celebrate the couple’s wedding. Aubrey and Andy had gotten engaged in December 2020, with Bob sharing his excitement on social media: “With my blessings!!!

Lara Melanie Saget, 36

Lara was born on Oct. 16, 1989, in New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in 2012 and her Master of Fine Arts from NYU in 2018.

An artist like her sister, Lara works with diverse materials — rocks, paint, glass, and more — rather than solely focusing on oil painting. She is also a yoga instructor and educator and co-founded the interdisciplinary artist collective Studio 200 in New York City in 2013, which continues today.

On Father’s Day 2022, Lara posted a heartfelt tribute to her late father on Instagram, alongside a childhood photo. “My dad wasn’t just my dad, he was my best friend,” she wrote. “He wore his heart. He didn’t hide it; he wasn’t afraid of love… My dad taught me that it doesn’t matter what life throws, how hard, how painful, how seemingly impossible. It doesn’t stop that love. He chose love, always… I love you infinitely, dad. Happy Father’s Day.”

Jennifer Belle Saget, 32

The youngest of Bob and Sherri Kramer’s children, Jennifer was born on Nov. 18, 1992. She was five when her parents divorced. While she made occasional red carpet appearances as a child, she has mostly kept her life private.

Although Bob said all three daughters are artists, Jennifer prefers privacy, keeping her Instagram private and not maintaining a professional portfolio online. She describes herself simply as a “lover of music, art, technology, science [and] potatoes.”

Jennifer maintains a close bond with Bob’s widow, Rizzo, as do her sisters. Rizzo shared that she and Bob’s daughters “love each other very very much and talk or text every day — and we’re just so so grateful to be as close as we are because it’s not always the case with stepfamilies.” Jennifer also joined her sisters to honor Bob’s friend Gilbert Gottfried after his passing in April 2022.

“What was very heartwarming was seeing Bob Saget’s daughters at the service,” Jeff Ross said. “Gilbert would have loved it.”
