Ashlee Simpson, widely known for her music career in the early 2000s, now spends her days focused on motherhood. She shares one child with her ex-husband Pete Wentz and two children with her current husband, Evan Ross. In 2008, the same year she released her single “Little Miss Obsessive,” Ashlee welcomed her first child, Bronx Mowgli, with Wentz. After stepping back from music, Ashlee married Evan Ross in 2014, and together, they have two children: Jagger Snow, born in 2015, and Ziggy Blu, born in 2020.

Ashlee and Evan have been open about their blended family and co-parenting relationship with Wentz. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2018, Evan praised Wentz, calling him “an amazing father” and sharing that he has a great relationship with Bronx. Ashlee also revealed in a 2020 interview with PEOPLE Now that she and Evan believe in allowing their kids to explore their interests, helping them discover their passions on their own.

In June 2024, the whole family made a rare public appearance at the premiere of Inside Out 2 at the El Capitan Theatre. Here’s a look at each of Ashlee’s children: Bronx, Jagger, and Ziggy.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz, 15

Born on Nov. 20, 2008, Bronx is Ashlee’s first child with Pete Wentz. Despite the couple’s split in 2011, they remained committed co-parents, prioritizing Bronx’s happiness. Ashlee’s husband Evan quickly built a close bond with Bronx, calling him “unbelievable” and “a blessing” in his life. Bronx shares his family’s musical talent; even as a young child, he enjoyed writing little songs and dancing. Proud to be an older sibling, Bronx is especially caring toward his younger siblings, Jagger and Ziggy.

Jagger Snow Ross, 9

Ashlee and Evan’s first child together, Jagger, was born on July 30, 2015. Even as a young child, Jagger showed interest in creative pursuits, and in 2022, she made her modeling debut in a campaign for the fashion brand Fear of God. Both Ashlee and Evan are thrilled with her budding creativity, noting Jagger’s love for fashion, art, and music. Jagger’s voice even appears in the song “Turn Up the Sunshine” by her grandmother Diana Ross and Tame Impala for the Minions: The Rise of Gru soundtrack.

Ziggy Blu Ross, 4

Ziggy, born on Oct. 29, 2020, is Ashlee and Evan’s youngest child. Sharing a birthday with his aunt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Ziggy brings joy to his family. His big sister Jagger loves to entertain him, often singing and dancing for him. The family celebrated Ziggy’s third birthday in October 2023, with Evan sharing a heartfelt tribute to his son on social media.

August 31, 2014: Ashlee and Evan’s Wedding

Ashlee and Evan wed at his mother Diana Ross’s home in Connecticut, with Diana herself officiating the ceremony and surprising guests with a performance of “Endless Love” during the reception. Ashlee’s son Bronx walked her down the aisle, and her sister Jessica Simpson served as maid of honor. It was a beautiful start to their life as a blended family, full of love and creativity.
