All About Saquon Barkley’s 2 Kids: Daughter Jada and Son Saquon Jr.

Saquon Barkley’s biggest fans are often cheering him on from the sidelines—his two kids, Jada and Saquon Jr.
The Philadelphia Eagles running back shares his children with fiancée Anna Congdon. The couple, who met at Penn State and got engaged just before the 2025 Super Bowl, welcomed their first child, daughter Jada, in April 2018. They later celebrated the birth of their son, Saquon Jr., in September 2022.
Even after leaving Penn State early for the NFL, Barkley completed his degree in May 2022, keeping his kids in mind. “I also thought it would be good to get my degree to set an example for my siblings and my family,” he told Giants.com. “I want my kids to be goal setters… whatever they want to accomplish, they can do it if they put their mind to it.”
Jada and Saquon Jr. have been spotted cheering for their dad at games, including the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory in 2025, and appear in his new Prime Video documentary, SAQUON, streaming Oct. 9.

Barkley and Congdon welcomed their daughter Jada on April 24, 2018—just two days before he was drafted by the Giants. Congdon shared the news on Instagram, writing, “When two became three…” and has frequently shared sweet moments with her daughter online.
Barkley often reflects on fatherhood in interviews. “I go out there and sacrifice my body every single day for my daughter,” he told NJ Advance Media in 2019.

The couple welcomed their son, Saquon Jr. (S.J.), in September 2022. Barkley described him as a “beautiful baby” with an “amazing smile,” noting how Jada has been a loving big sister.
On parenting, Barkley admits he sometimes falls into stereotypical patterns: coddling Jada while teaching S.J. to be tougher. “I gotta do better in that area,” he shared, reflecting on how fatherhood continues to shape him.
