NLE Choppa’s 2 Kids: Everything to Know About the Rapper’s Daughter Clover and Son ChoZen

Rapper NLE Choppa is a proud father of two children: daughter Clover and son ChoZen. The “Shotta Flow” artist, born Bryson Potts, welcomed his first child, Clover Brylie Potts, with ex-girlfriend Mariah in 2020. A few years later, he and ex-partner Marissa Da’Nae became parents to their son, ChoZen Wone Da’Shun Potts, in 2023.
In a June 2024 interview on The Rap Dads Show, NLE Choppa opened up about how fatherhood changed him. “It shows you the world doesn’t revolve around you,” he said. “It shows you that your kids are you. That’s what I see the most. I look at my daughter, I look at my son, and I’m like, man damn. Y’all pick up on the same traits that I have.

NLE Choppa and Mariah welcomed Clover on June 20, 2020. In a heartfelt Instagram post from May 2023 (since deleted), he called Clover his angel and credited her with giving his life new meaning.
“This is my ‘ANGEL,’” he wrote. “You are the reason I LIVE. When I found out you were conceiving, you gave me something to not only look forward to, but something to live for!”
Since her birth, Clover has been a regular part of her dad’s social media presence. From matching outfits to sweet spa days, the two have shared plenty of memorable moments. In March 2024, NLE Choppa posted photos of them twinning in pink jackets, hats, and gloves during a spa day. “Spa Days Be The Best Days With You 🍀💕💕,” he captioned the post.
For Clover’s fourth birthday, he treated her to a fun trip to Sesame Place at SeaWorld San Diego. In a now-deleted video, she was seen happily hugging one of the characters. In June 2024, NLE Choppa proudly celebrated another big milestone: her first day of school.

NLE Choppa and Marissa Da’Nae welcomed their son, ChoZen, on August 16, 2023. The rapper announced his birth with an emotional behind-the-scenes video from the delivery room.
“The best gift God has given this year,” he wrote. “Excuse my humor — she was in pain, so I had to be a comedian LOL. ALL PRAISE TO THE MOST.”
He later explained the meaning behind his son’s unique name.
“His name is special, spiritual, and unique,” he said on Instagram Stories. “ChoZen — picked by God, God’s favorite, and also zenful energy.”
He added that “Wone” symbolizes having already “won” at life, and “Da’Shun” combines his middle name, LaShun, and Marissa’s, Da’Nae.
Before shifting his Instagram to focus solely on music and promotions, NLE Choppa frequently shared sweet glimpses of his life with ChoZen.
