Join Kids Company on an Overseas Challenge this Autumn

Climb the highest mountain in North Africa or take on a wilderness challenge in the Arctic Circle. Have fun, make friends, get fit and help vulnerable children.

MT TOUBKAL, MOROCCO (4167m)
15th-18th October 2009

Join us for Kids Company’s first attempt to reach the summit of the highest peak in North Africa in a three day expedition from Imlil at the base of the High Atlas. Known locally as Jebel Toubkal, Mt Toubkal stands 4167m above sea level and commands superb views of the High Atlas Mountains. This challenging two-day ascent passes through remote villages and terraced fields offering an insight into the life of the hardy and friendly Berber people.

Length of trip: three days. Leaving from Heathrow late on Thursday 15th Oct. Returning early evening on Sunday 18th Oct.

Suggested Sponsorship: £900 per person.

ARCTIC BIATHLON
27th-30th November 2009

Following the huge success of this event in 2008, we wanted to offer the opportunity to more of our supporters. Join us in the Arctic Circle for a Swedish wilderness endurance challenge. By day, teams will compete against one another on sleds or Nordic skis in temperatures as low as -25°C. By night, teams will enjoy dinners in the wilderness and may even be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.

Length of trip: four days. Leaving from Heathrow early on Friday 27th November, returning late afternoon on 30th November.

Suggested Sponsorship: £750 per person.
