CHRISTMAS AT KIDS COMPANY

Christmas is often a time of great anxiety and stress for the children and families we support. A family struggling to cope with day-to-day existence is unable to provide a Christmas meal, let alone presents and party games. It doesn’t have to be that way, and with your support we really can make a difference.

Last year, we put on a spectacular Christmas Day party for hundreds of children who would otherwise have gone without. This year, we expect to welcome over 2000 children and young people who have nowhere else to go. We provide games, activities, storytelling, a Santa’s grotto and of course a Christmas dinner and presents for every child who comes.

There are many ways you can help us in the run up to Christmas, on Christmas day itself, and even Boxing Day.

DONATE GIFTS

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without the joy of a child receiving a present, the rustle of wrapping paper and their excitement at opening it. Our aim is to be able to give each child a bag containing individually wrapped gifts on Christmas Day – usually an item of winter clothing, some toiletries and a toy. You can help us make this happen by making a donation through the website, or choosing a present from one of our online gift lists. VOLUNTEER

We couldn’t manage Christmas without the contributions of hundreds of amazing volunteers. Thanks to lots of generous people, we already have all the volunteers we need to help with present wrapping and on December 25th itself.
